Jason Gracey

Jason Gracey brings an impressive track record to the firm, with over 1,000 homes sold and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of properties, from leases to new construction, design and build projects, vacant lots, and more. He is well-versed in investment deals, probate matters, 1031 exchanges, and assisting first-time buyers and sellers. He is also certified in various specialized areas, including luxury home selling, negotiation expertise, buyer representation, senior real estate, farm and ranch transactions, and new home construction. His knowledge extends throughout Houston and surrounding areas, ensuring that clients receive top-notch guidance no matter where their real estate journey takes them.

 

Before real estate, Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Houston and was previously the owner of Polk Street Creative Resources, specializing in video production servicing clients from Fortune 500 companies to non-profits and earning two Telly Awards in the process. He has been married to his wife, Ruth, co-owner of the firm, since 2000 and together they have four children. His interests are as diverse as his real estate portfolio, including craft beer, baseball, dogs, classic rock, great movies, grilling, spending time outdoors, and indulging in Ruth’s amazing cooking.

Ruth Gracey

Ruth Gracy's real estate journey encompasses a variety of roles and responsibilities, highlighting her skill in managing complex transactions, marketing, accounting, and business planning. Before entering the real estate industry, Ruth's educational path took her from Austin to Texas State University, where she initially studied journalism before expanding into legal and marketing administration—a foundation that later led to her career in the real estate field.

 

While homeschooling her four children, Ruth successfully continued her professional involvement in the real estate field. Her dedication to community service shines through her volunteer work and unwavering commitment to her family. This included Scouting and various roles at Prince of Peace Catholic Community. Ruth has even been awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Beyond her real estate activities, she finds joy in gardening, cooking, reading, and caring for her pets.

 

 

Joseph Jehlen

Inside Sales Agent (ISA), Realtor

Joseph Jehlen recently relocated to Houston, Texas, with his two sons after returning from Norfolk, VA, where he served in the Navy reserves for a distinguished 6-year career as a naval corpsman. His dedication to service, discipline, and attention to detail, cultivated during his Navy service and paramedic training, make him an ideal Inside Sales Agent (ISA) at Great Houston Properties. He recently obtained his real estate license from Champions School of Real Estate and is the team's initial point of contact with a personal touch that goes beyond automation.

In Virginia, he was an active member of the local homeschool community and a dedicated volunteer at the local food pantry. In his downtime, Joseph enjoys reading, grilling, and spending quality time with his boys, whether it's in the pool, playing video games, hiking, or participating in their school life.
